If no news is good news...
Then a news update must mean bad news, right?
As some of you might know, my sister has taken my computer. This made me angry, but not for long, because my parents announced that I could have a new one as an early birthday present!
Imagine my joy! I was very joyful! For two days I eagerly awaited the arrival of my new computer, whom I already had decided to call Bertolt, or Bertie for short. It arrived today, and I was still very joyful.
I became slightly less joyful when I plugged in this little laptop and pushed the power button, since an alarming sound was emitted. It sounded a little like a miniature chainsaw trapped inside a box.
To cut this tale short: There's something wrong with Bertie's ventilation system, so we have to send it somewhere and demand that they fix it. It should be covered by the warranty, but it'll probably take time and everything, which annoys me to no end (yeah yeah, I'm spoiled, I know).
So, my point is, updates might be a little shaky, because I have something against using other computers than my own when I do comic-related things. Don't ask. And the sucky thing is, I can't even start drawing a buffer, because my script is on the sister-stolen computer! I should get my files back tomorrow, though, and hopefully there's some way I can get my hands on my script and things.
I'm very sorry about all of this. No really, I don't think anyone could feel sorrier than I do right now :P
Excuse me while I curse over Bertie's faulty ventilation system. I just knew getting a new computer was too good to be true >.<
:whining excuses end here:
